Busy, busy first thing! Neither of us slept too well (again) but we had to at Waitrose for opening and then Central Garage to pick-up Ann’s hire car.
The weather forecast is looking good – perfect for boating!!!
So, with all the ‘must-dos’ out-of-the-way, and a bit of food preparation behind us, we went round to D and V’s and then headed over to Buckden Marina to cast-off for a day on their boat.
What a fantastic day! The weather did turn out to be perfect – probably one of the best days we’d had..just wall-to-wall sunshine!
We headed in the St Neots direction and even though the locks were against us, it was still great fun. When we got to St Neots, we had lunch and then had a walk around the town.
We got back about 6.30 – just time to bore D and V to death 🙂 with our holiday photos from Japan!!
By 8pm, we were all shattered – time to call it a day! It’s been a great one!!!

I got into blogging quite late in life, not publishing my first post until 2004 – well into my 40s!
My lifelong love of technology and communication (in all its forms), together with a fondness for the art of writing seemed to be the perfect combination to contribute a few words to the online community.
But I’m no Samuel Pepys! If you’re looking for deep and meaningful comments on a variety of subjects, then you’ve arrived at the wrong site! I only pen for pleasure!
On average, my posts appear about twice per month, covering family & friends, cinema visits, eating out, holiday experiences and techy stuff. Oh, and as this is my hobby, there’s no sponsored links nor adverts here – it’s all done with love!
I hope you find it enjoyable, interesting and occasionally, even helpful!
