It’s that time again, where we take our life in our hands and attempt to get the cats – Biscuit and Bon-Bon, in their cat carriers and off to Patsy for their six-weekly wash-and brush-up. Actually, this time they weren’t too bad, Bon-Bon was hunted down and dropped-in her carrier first. A bit of moaning and clawing, but on the whole, no problem.
Biscuit turned-out to be the more challenging. She had seen the cat carriers being taken downstairs and headed for darkest corner of the garden – and hid!
Still, we’re getting used to this cat-strategy, and we knew where she went. Ten minutes later, after a lot of writhing and wriggling, Biscuit succumbed to the inevitable!
Ann picked them up around 4pm – and they are now the fluffiest, sweetest-smelling cats in Kettering!
Ahh, bless!

I got into blogging quite late in life, not publishing my first post until 2004 – well into my 40s! My lifelong love of technology and communication (in all its forms), together with a fondness for the art of writing seemed to be the perfect combination to contribute a few words to the online community. But I’m no Samuel Pepys! If you’re looking for deep and meaningful comments on a variety of subjects, then you’ve arrived at the wrong site! I only pen for pleasure! On average, my posts appear about twice per month, covering family & friends, cinema visits, eating out, holiday experiences and techy stuff. Oh, and as this is my hobby, there are no sponsored links nor adverts here – it’s all done with love!
I hope you find it enjoyable, interesting and occasionally, even helpful!
