We left at around 7.45 to meet Nicki in Stratford. The weather looks cold and misty but that won’t stop us doing what we do best – shopping!
We got to Stratford around 8.45 – Nicki arrived soon after. We parked up and had a mooch around the town. We stopped off at a couple of coffee shops along the way.
We took a drive out of Stratford for lunch and ended up at ‘The Mary Arden’ and had a superb lunch all round. Ann had the home-made burger whilst Nicki and I had the steak and mushroom pie with cheese topping and fat fries and vegetables.
We called it a day around 2.15. The weather had turned nasty – rain, rain and more rain, so we all headed off home.
It’s been a great day …just a little disappointed by the weather!
I got into blogging quite late in life, not publishing my first post until 2004 – well into my 40s! My lifelong love of technology and communication (in all its forms), together with a fondness for the art of writing seemed to be the perfect combination to contribute a few words to the online community. But I’m no Samuel Pepys! If you’re looking for deep and meaningful comments on a variety of subjects, then you’ve arrived at the wrong site! I only pen for pleasure! On average, my posts appear about twice per month, covering family & friends, cinema visits, eating out, holiday experiences and techy stuff. Oh, and as this is my hobby, there are no sponsored links nor adverts here – it’s all done with love!
I hope you find it enjoyable, interesting and occasionally, even helpful!
