Travelled down to London today to see Chris W my IFA. Thoughts of retirement or more practically semi-retirement is on the agenda!

Took the new laptop with a view to do a little work on the train and investigate wireless connectivity. Easy-peasy! Grabbed a seat in the Novotel at Tower Bridge and logged onto ‘The Cloud’.

Looks like I’m getting something like a 3 meg connection! ..that’s 6 times faster than at home..brilliant!

This is going to significantly change my working practices when I’m away from home!!!

I got into blogging quite late in life, not publishing my first post until 2004 – well into my 40s! My lifelong love of technology and communication (in all its forms), together with a fondness for the art of writing seemed to be the perfect combination to contribute a few words to the online community.
