A really lazy day today, helped by the fact that it rained ALL day! We took a short drive to ‘Van Hage’s’ a local gigantic garden centre nearby. For the rest of the day we just ate, drank and caught up with the newspapers.
We watched ‘Black Book’ on DVD. It’s about Nazi occupied Holland in September, 1944. A really good film by Paul Verhoeven (Director: Total Recall and Basic Instinct) with lots of plot twists along the way to keep us guessing.
We don’t recall it doing the rounds at the cinema, but it was in Dutch with English subtitles which may explain it.

I got into blogging quite late in life, not publishing my first post until 2004 – well into my 40s! My lifelong love of technology and communication (in all its forms), together with a fondness for the art of writing seemed to be the perfect combination to contribute a few words to the online community.
