With just over two weeks before the decorators weave their magic on the office-bedroom conversion, things were getting a little tense at this end as we still hadn’t found the right wallpaper! You know what it’s like – there’s a particular colour that just works with everything else, but nowhere seems to have it. We had already decided to go for bold/strong colours in the room and maybe that made the colour-matching more difficult, so tonight, we were determined to get it all sorted – virtually!
So, after some serious surfing on the ‘net, we managed to find…
a teal chair!

…and after that slight distraction, we soldiered on, after reviewing some wallpaper samples we ordered in the post. Success! – and a massive sigh of relief as we clicked on ‘confirm your order’ at good ol’ John Lewis having found the exact shade and texture – Sanderson’s Linum design in Lime.
We’re now just left with sorting out the window-blinds, and then everything is sourced. The room will feel very ‘60s’ and so we’ll ensure provide guests with sunglasses before they enter!![]()
I got into blogging quite late in life, not publishing my first post until 2004 – well into my 40s! My lifelong love of technology and communication (in all its forms), together with a fondness for the art of writing seemed to be the perfect combination to contribute a few words to the online community. But I’m no Samuel Pepys! If you’re looking for deep and meaningful comments on a variety of subjects, then you’ve arrived at the wrong site! I only pen for pleasure! On average, my posts appear about twice per month, covering family & friends, cinema visits, eating out, holiday experiences and techy stuff. Oh, and as this is my hobby, there are no sponsored links nor adverts here – it’s all done with love!
I hope you find it enjoyable, interesting and occasionally, even helpful!
