Not content with taking on the challenge of Sean’s garden, we offered to help out our good friends Nick and Celina with the outside of their property. Currently, it’s less of a garden and more of a ‘wild’ patch! And it’s a big patch!
It’s a lovely place, and there’s plenty to do inside and out, so today was our first attempt to bring the outside space into some form of order! It won’t be a just a couple of visits either, as the previous owner had, to be fair, let it slide in the slipperiest of ways! Below was just one example of how the garden had been left to ‘do its own thing’.

Before…
After…
Well, that one bed sorted – another fifty-or-so visits and we’ll have it all done!
…and going forward, they’ll be a few more full ones of these too!

I got into blogging quite late in life, not publishing my first post until 2004 – well into my 40s! My lifelong love of technology and communication (in all its forms), together with a fondness for the art of writing seemed to be the perfect combination to contribute a few words to the online community. But I’m no Samuel Pepys! If you’re looking for deep and meaningful comments on a variety of subjects, then you’ve arrived at the wrong site! I only pen for pleasure! On average, my posts appear about twice per month, covering family & friends, cinema visits, eating out, holiday experiences and techy stuff. Oh, and as this is my hobby, there are no sponsored links nor adverts here – it’s all done with love!
I hope you find it enjoyable, interesting and occasionally, even helpful!
