We jumped on the train from Bedford today and headed for Bromley South where we met up with Neil, Debbie, Alfie and Frankie.
Armed with vouchers, we walked up the High Street to the Ask restaurant in Bromley (where we’d met up last August) for lunch and a good catch-up. A lot has happened in the 12 months, since we were last here – Alf is now in full-time employment and Frank has just finished his A-Levels AND scooped a Maths prize along the way! 👍👍
A perfect opportunity to celebrate their success!

The menu was extensive…!
…and the food was delicious!
We had a very relaxed lunch and it was good to catch-up. Just after 2, we walked back down the High Street to the Station and said our goodbyes. We had a short wait for the 2.30 and were back in Bedford by 4.15 – and home by 5.30.
It’s been a great day with (half the) family!

I got into blogging quite late in life, not publishing my first post until 2004 – well into my 40s! My lifelong love of technology and communication (in all its forms), together with a fondness for the art of writing seemed to be the perfect combination to contribute a few words to the online community. But I’m no Samuel Pepys! If you’re looking for deep and meaningful comments on a variety of subjects, then you’ve arrived at the wrong site! I only pen for pleasure! On average, my posts appear about twice per month, covering family & friends, cinema visits, eating out, holiday experiences and techy stuff. Oh, and as this is my hobby, there are no sponsored links nor adverts here – it’s all done with love!
I hope you find it enjoyable, interesting and occasionally, even helpful!
