Another day in paradise! We woke late and headed for a leisurely breakfast on our floor. Our Butler had already told us that breakfast time would be especially busy today on our floor, but as it turned out, it wasn’t! So, another very relaxed breakfast came our way!
After brekky, Ann and Karen went shopping whilst Ralph and I discussed a work proposal.
That took us all through until lunchtime when we headed out for Hyde Park Barracks and then onto the Botanic Gardens via some of the older buildings in Sydney. We finished off at Circular Quay (again!) for some drinks (again!!)
Did we mention bats in the Gardens?
For eats, we tracked down a good Mexican Restaurant Baja Cantina that was only 15 minutes away by taxi. Apparently, Mexican dining isn’t very popular in Oz (Factoid: apparently Italian is! The food was superb, and the cheapest since we’ve been out here
Tomorrow is a planned leisurely morning in preparation for our mega new year’s eve event! It will be a three-course meal, a load of live entertainment, two firework shows AND a private party, all at the iconic Sydney Opera House
Nighty-night!
I got into blogging quite late in life, not publishing my first post until 2004 – well into my 40s! My lifelong love of technology and communication (in all its forms), together with a fondness for the art of writing seemed to be the perfect combination to contribute a few words to the online community. But I’m no Samuel Pepys! If you’re looking for deep and meaningful comments on a variety of subjects, then you’ve arrived at the wrong site! I only pen for pleasure! On average, my posts appear about twice per month, covering family & friends, cinema visits, eating out, holiday experiences and techy stuff. Oh, and as this is my hobby, there are no sponsored links nor adverts here – it’s all done with love!
I hope you find it enjoyable, interesting and occasionally, even helpful!
