Took the afternoon off as I seem to be well ahead with my work. Lee and I watched Dead Men Don’t Wear Plaid (1982). An unusual title with an even more unusual cast: Steve Martin, Rachel Ward, Alan Ladd, James Cagney, Barbara Stanwyck, Humphrey Bogart, Ray Milland, Kirk Douglas, Ava Gardner and James Cagney – virtually every 40s/50s movie icon there ever was!
Forget the storyline, just enjoy Steve Martin at this best, together with some clever special effects that allowed Steve to share the screen with most of the above artistes.
A guilty pleasure!

I got into blogging quite late in life, not publishing my first post until 2004 – well into my 40s! My lifelong love of technology and communication (in all its forms), together with a fondness for the art of writing seemed to be the perfect combination to contribute a few words to the online community.
