We travelled down to Roger, Jane and Oliver’s. It’s probably the last time we’ll see them before Christmas and before Jane has her operation later this month.
They’d prepared a SUPERB lunch (as always) – Roast lamb and a good range of veg, followed by apple pie all washed down with an excellent red wine.
Oliver was in good spirits and wore Ann out. He liked his pressy (the bird feeder, shown above) although assembling was a bit of a nightmare!!
I fiddled with their Dell PC trying sort out some email issues and why Jane’s account wasn’t working. It wasn’t a total success – I managed to get the account working but lack-of Internet access from Jane’s side remained a mystery.
We left just after 4.30 and got in around 5.45. The weather home was atrocious – just like last night – rain, rain, rain and more rain!!
I got into blogging quite late in life, not publishing my first post until 2004 – well into my 40s! My lifelong love of technology and communication (in all its forms), together with a fondness for the art of writing seemed to be the perfect combination to contribute a few words to the online community. But I’m no Samuel Pepys! If you’re looking for deep and meaningful comments on a variety of subjects, then you’ve arrived at the wrong site! I only pen for pleasure! On average, my posts appear about twice per month, covering family & friends, cinema visits, eating out, holiday experiences and techy stuff. Oh, and as this is my hobby, there are no sponsored links nor adverts here – it’s all done with love!
I hope you find it enjoyable, interesting and occasionally, even helpful!
