We drove up to Denis’ today, placing some flowers on Mae’s grave along the way.
Bev had created a legendary-sized Cottage Pie – not for the faint-hearted nor the short-of-stomach, it was a veritable feast and I won’t need to eat until August!!!!! She followed it up (for Denis and me, at least) with a fruit-flan.
On the way back, we stopped off at Downtown for a quick peruse of their wares – well, not exactly quick but it was time well-invested as both Lee and Ann picked-up some real bargains.
We arrived home around 6 – it’s been good to see the family, eat well and bag some bargains!! – a great day!

I got into blogging quite late in life, not publishing my first post until 2004 – well into my 40s! My lifelong love of technology and communication (in all its forms), together with a fondness for the art of writing seemed to be the perfect combination to contribute a few words to the online community.
