Ahhh. a rare trip back to some old technology 🙂 – the NON Blu-Ray version of ‘The Young Victoria‘ starring Emily Blunt, Rupert Friend, Paul Bettany, Miranda Richardson and Jim Broadbent. A perfect film for snuggling-up on the sofa on a Sunday afternoon in October!
Written by Julian Fellowes and released in March, 2009, it was a lavish production, with good acting all round. Nice soundtrack too. It was pretty accurate from a historical point of view except for the scene where the Prince ‘took a bullet’ for the young Queen!

I got into blogging quite late in life, not publishing my first post until 2004 – well into my 40s! My lifelong love of technology and communication (in all its forms), together with a fondness for the art of writing seemed to be the perfect combination to contribute a few words to the online community.
