Nicki, Ann and I took the train to Newcastle to do some serious shopping.
As it turned out, it was more productive that we thought. With Nicki’s help, Ann managed to pick up a number of dresses – the sort she had been looking for for ages!
However, the biggest bargain of the day was that we actually bought the plasma television. We hadn’t planned to, but the Panasonic 42″ (TH42PX70) Plasma caught our eye at £899. Yes, £899! It started of at £1099 at 9am and they dropped the price because a competitor had!!! Brilliant!! So, we bought it and had the order transferred to the Peterborough branch (we popped in on the way back on the train) to ensure we got free delivery. It’s coming Tuesday. Yippee…!!!!

I got into blogging quite late in life, not publishing my first post until 2004 – well into my 40s!
