Reading time: < 1 minute...It was off to The Fortescue Arms in Billingborough today, to meet up with Denis and Bev. We didn’t need much of an excuse, but as it happened it was to celebrate Denis’ birthday earlier in the week.
Feeding Time!
Phew! What a scorcher!
Boy, was it hot!! We sat outside (a first for us at this Pub), and were soon wishing we hadn’t – especially Bev and me sitting on the outside of the umbrella with our backs to the Sun.
Great food!
The portions were, as usual, massive – and delicious in equal measure!, and although most of us avoided a full three-courser (with the exception of me!), we were ALL stuffed by the time we left.
A Dessert – Oh, go on then!

I got into blogging quite late in life, not publishing my first post until 2004 – well into my 40s! My lifelong love of technology and communication (in all its forms), together with a fondness for the art of writing seemed to be the perfect combination to contribute a few words to the online community. On average, my posts appear about twice per month, covering family & friends, cinema visits, eating out, holiday experiences and techy stuff.
