Father’s Day with Denis

The View form Denis’ Back Garden

We drove up to Denis’ today – and what a gorgeously sunny day it was! We sat out and soaked up some rays – and the view – before tucking in to a ‘Father’s Day’ Lunch!!

Bev sorted out the main course of Chicken with all the trimmings, whilst Ann prepared the desserts – Sticky Toffee Raisin Sponge and/or Profiteroles – all washed down with one of the last bottles of Mum’s stash of Vouvray wine.

Thanks for cooking Bev! – and clearing up!!!!

I got into blogging quite late in life, not publishing my first post until 2004 – well into my 40s! My lifelong love of technology and communication (in all its forms), together with a fondness for the art of writing seemed to be the perfect combination to contribute a few words to the online community.
