Another fine day down here and we’re going to make the most of it and drive over to Arundel. Shops first, then the Castle!
But not before we visited our fave posh ‘greasy spoon’ here: The Moat house in the town centre, and enjoyed a full-English brekky!!! Then it was a mooch round the shops, a short coffee-break by the river before Ian and Sharon departed, leaving us to do the Castle. The whole area was packed – not surprising really, as it was another scorcher of a day just like the last time we were here in 2007.
After a quick snooze in the afternoon, it was time to get ready for the evening. Ian and Sharon picked us up and we headed off to the Coach and Horses in Worthing – a traditional 18th century coaching inn (according to their web-site). We met up with Pete and Diana, (and Diana’s Mum), Simon and Cori and Duncan and Claire there and we all got on really well. We were on the end with Duncan and Claire and that gave us to also talk about our respective businesses. We also discovered that Ann and Claire had gone to the same school – and lived almost in the same street as kids! Small world!!!!
We didn’t stay that late and Ian and and Sharon dropped us back at the Premier inn around 10pm
It’s been a great weekend – the weather’s been just perfect and it’s always great fun with Ian and Sharon. We’re leaving super-early tomorrow, in order to get back, do a few things around the house and get prepared for work the next day.
10.30: Off to bed then….

I got into blogging quite late in life, not publishing my first post until 2004 – well into my 40s! My lifelong love of technology and communication (in all its forms), together with a fondness for the art of writing seemed to be the perfect combination to contribute a few words to the online community. But I’m no Samuel Pepys! If you’re looking for deep and meaningful comments on a variety of subjects, then you’ve arrived at the wrong site! I only pen for pleasure! On average, my posts appear about twice per month, covering family & friends, cinema visits, eating out, holiday experiences and techy stuff. Oh, and as this is my hobby, there are no sponsored links nor adverts here – it’s all done with love!
I hope you find it enjoyable, interesting and occasionally, even helpful!
