The day began early – 2am – with the ambulance arriving to take Lee (with Bertie) to hospital. She suffered one of her dizzy spells.
5.15 am Lee called from the hospital to say she was OK. So, we took the new car to pick them both up. We’re told that on arrival, the staff spent more time commenting on the car than attending to Lee! 🙂
By 8am we were back at the caravan tucking into egg, bacon and beans! The 2am wake-up call now seemed like a dream!!
Ann and I went off to Holt – our fave shopping town and spent quite a bit. New pillows, a collapsible colander, a fuschia top and a ginormous slow cooker. Ann also managed to get Bev a lovely handbag for her birthday.
Ann had an opportunity to drive the Mondeo back to L and B’s – she liked it. A lot!
A light lunch and then off to Sheringham for a mooch. It’s turning out to a very warm day, a mighty 23°C.
I don’t recall looking around the shops before, but we have been to Sheringham. It was pretty busy and parking was difficult. We eventually parked in a pay-and-display just behind Budgens. We had a general wander around and finished with a ’99’ and a flake each.
We got home around 4.45pm, just in time to see the soccer results – more especially Fulham’s 3-2 win over Manchester City!
18.00 Lee’s cooking tonight, so a relaxed evening with food-and-drink-a-plenty!
I think we won’t be too late to bed tonight – we have a last night to make-up for! 🙂
I got into blogging quite late in life, not publishing my first post until 2004 – well into my 40s! My lifelong love of technology and communication (in all its forms), together with a fondness for the art of writing seemed to be the perfect combination to contribute a few words to the online community. But I’m no Samuel Pepys! If you’re looking for deep and meaningful comments on a variety of subjects, then you’ve arrived at the wrong site! I only pen for pleasure! On average, my posts appear about twice per month, covering family & friends, cinema visits, eating out, holiday experiences and techy stuff. Oh, and as this is my hobby, there are no sponsored links nor adverts here – it’s all done with love!
I hope you find it enjoyable, interesting and occasionally, even helpful!
