We took Mum home today after her stay with us at Christmas. On the way, we stopped off at Roger, Jane and Oliver’s for lunch.
After dropping Mum off we headed home. We planned to meet Jo and Janet at the Odeon to see ‘Deja Vu’ starring Denzel Washington, but the journey from Roger’s to Mum’s was so crappy, it took us longer than expected. It began with the M25 being closed at Enfield so we headed towards Waltham Cross to pick up the 25 one junction further on. But, the signposting led us in a circle and back to where we started! Plan B then! We headed down the A10 to pick up the North Circular, but there was tons and tons of traffic and although it kept moving, it was a l-o-n-g journey home…
We eventually got in around 6.15 after leaving Rogers at 1.45!
I got into blogging quite late in life, not publishing my first post until 2004 – well into my 40s! My lifelong love of technology and communication (in all its forms), together with a fondness for the art of writing seemed to be the perfect combination to contribute a few words to the online community. But I’m no Samuel Pepys! If you’re looking for deep and meaningful comments on a variety of subjects, then you’ve arrived at the wrong site! I only pen for pleasure! On average, my posts appear about twice per month, covering family & friends, cinema visits, eating out, holiday experiences and techy stuff. Oh, and as this is my hobby, there are no sponsored links nor adverts here – it’s all done with love!
I hope you find it enjoyable, interesting and occasionally, even helpful!
