Two for Who!

Reading time: < 1 minute...

Fellow Doctor Who fan, Jo and I took a drive over to Peterborough today.

It was a rare opportunity to visit the City that’s hosting an unofficial Doctor Who Exhibition at their Museum & Art Gallery. It’s been running since May this year (ending on 2 November) and has turned out to be extremely popular. Some 14000 visitors so far, apparently! 👍

I npicked Jo up at 7.30am and we arrived with plenty of time to spare. So, we wandered round to nearby Bewiched for a brew and a cheeky tea-cake. Suitably refreshed, we then took the short walk and arrived at 9.30 on the dot – and there was already a queue! 😮

Once we were inside the Museum, it wasn’t the largest of spaces (just three rooms), but what was on display there, as we were soon to discover, was impressive!

Oh, go on then!
One of many!

November 23, 1963 – and so it begins!

Worth remembering that this was an UNofficial Exhibition and most of the exhibits were from amateur collectors.

Even if you’re not quite as obsessed as us two, you couldn’t fail to be impressed by the level of detail that had gone into the creation of what was on display 👏👏

Thanks! This had been VERY impressive

And in just under an hour, we were done! This had been a really impressive collection – hats off to the organisers.

Having spoken to a fellow ‘Who’ enthusiast who was checking admission tickets, we learned that the Exhibition is not ending when it closes here in November – it’s moving on to another town/city. That was great news as we both felt the Exhibition deserves a wider audience.

A brilliant event! 👍👍. Thanks to everyone involved!
