Another superb six-course menu last night introduced in all its mouth-watering glory by Richard, head Chef and owner of the place. Looks like he had also invited a lot of local chefs to the event too! The food, as expected, was SUPERB!
We plan to pick up their own cook-book on departure, today.
We met ‘Mouse’ his wife who was very nice. Mouse looks after the hotel side of things.
We’ll be sorry to leave Cleopatras, it’s been a superb location, and the people here really warm and friendly.
As we’ve mentioned (just!) a few times before, the food has consistently been the highest quality and the most creative we’ve had anywhere in the World…ever!
..and been around a bit!
Today we head towards Pietermaritzburg on our way to our next hotel at Ballito, on the coast, just north of Durban.
I got into blogging quite late in life, not publishing my first post until 2004 – well into my 40s! My lifelong love of technology and communication (in all its forms), together with a fondness for the art of writing seemed to be the perfect combination to contribute a few words to the online community. But I’m no Samuel Pepys! If you’re looking for deep and meaningful comments on a variety of subjects, then you’ve arrived at the wrong site! I only pen for pleasure! On average, my posts appear about twice per month, covering family & friends, cinema visits, eating out, holiday experiences and techy stuff. Oh, and as this is my hobby, there are no sponsored links nor adverts here – it’s all done with love!
I hope you find it enjoyable, interesting and occasionally, even helpful!
