I drove over to Stratford tonight to catch-up with Ian and Mags for our three-monthly catch-up. Generally speaking, we’ve always been very successful in choosing the eatery – and tonight was no exception!
Mags had booked the recently(ish) opened Sabai Sabai in town and it didn’t disappoint!
What was disappointing was the journey over towards Stratford!!! A complete nightmare, with large part of the A14 west near us down to a single lane causing over ten-miles of crawling traffic. Instead of it taking just over the hour to get there, it took almost two-and-a-quarter, door-to-door. Still, the food and company more than made up for it – and the journey home, thankfully, was trouble-free.
A super evening all round! Next time it’s Babe Blooz in Market Harborough.
I got into blogging quite late in life, not publishing my first post until 2004 – well into my 40s! My lifelong love of technology and communication (in all its forms), together with a fondness for the art of writing seemed to be the perfect combination to contribute a few words to the online community.
