My Blog lives! (phew!!!)

A while ago, I mentioned that due to some techy changes at Google, I’d have to move my Blog to a new address within Blogger – owned by Google – otherwise all postings would cease after May 1st. I did the migration exercise last night and (touch wood) everything seems to have gone smoooooothly.

So, if you read them at www.StevePalmer.com/blog/blogger.html, going there now will point you to my new blog address at https://palmer-steve.blogspot.com – and that’ll be the direct link in the future.

However, the good news is that if you read my Blogs in Facebook, (where I think, most of you do), then nothing changes for you.

Eventually, when I get my head round the techy side of all of this, I might change the address to something a bit friendlier, but for now, my blog lives on at its new home.

If anyone spots any glitches in my posts over the next few weeks, please let me know!

I got into blogging quite late in life, not publishing my first post until 2004 – well into my 40s! My lifelong love of technology and communication (in all its forms), together with a fondness for the art of writing seemed to be the perfect combination to contribute a few words to the online community. But I’m no Samuel Pepys! If you’re looking for deep and meaningful comments on a variety of subjects, then you’ve arrived at the wrong site! I only pen for pleasure! On average, my posts appear about twice per month, covering family & friends, cinema visits, eating out, holiday experiences and techy stuff. Oh, and as this is my hobby, there are no sponsored links nor adverts here – it’s all done with love!
