How Very ‘English’

Ann, Lee and I went for afternoon tea at The Old Forge in Cranford this afternoon – invited by Janet as part of her birthday celebrations. I can’t believe we’ve not been there before. It was a unique way to celebrate – the sandwiches, cakes and scones were yummy!! Quintessentially ‘English’ and a great way to spend a Sunday afternoon.

I got into blogging quite late in life, not publishing my first post until 2004 – well into my 40s! My lifelong love of technology and communication (in all its forms), together with a fondness for the art of writing seemed to be the perfect combination to contribute a few words to the online community.
