We dropped into The Wheatsheaf at Titchmarsh today as a treat for lee’s Birthday (which was yesterday). The place was (unusually) very quiet when we got there at 12.45, but by 1.30 it was chock-a-block. It’s always been a busy place, but apparently, the Pub down the road closed down recently leaving The Wheatsheaf as the only local there.
The food was great and the portions enormous. No chance of slipping the giant Yorkshire Pudding in your bag for later – it was more of a case of slipping your bag in the Pudding! 🙂

I got into blogging quite late in life, not publishing my first post until 2004 – well into my 40s! My lifelong love of technology and communication (in all its forms), together with a fondness for the art of writing seemed to be the perfect combination to contribute a few words to the online community. On average, my posts appear about twice per month, covering family & friends, cinema visits, eating out, holiday experiences and techy stuff. Oh, and as this is my hobby, there are no sponsored links nor adverts here – it’s all done with love!
