I’m not particularly interested in politics, but the last few days since the General Election have been intriguing, to say the least.
After days of political-wrangling, finally Gordon Brown resigned and we’re going to get a some sort of alliance between the Lib-Dems and the Conservatives.
Significantly, Gordon Brown chose to resign before the official announcement by the Lib-Dems/Conservatives about what they’re proposing. All the TV commentators seemed to be shocked by this having told us that he wouldn’t resign until the new government was officially formed.
19.45 UK time: We now don’t have a Prime Minister! I don’t think that’s happened before during my lifetime.
Looks like we’re getting the youngest prime minister (at 44) since Lord Liverpool in 1812 – David Cameron
Ooo-errr missus!!

I got into blogging quite late in life, not publishing my first post until 2004 – well into my 40s! My lifelong love of technology and communication (in all its forms), together with a fondness for the art of writing seemed to be the perfect combination to contribute a few words to the online community. But I’m no Samuel Pepys! If you’re looking for deep and meaningful comments on a variety of subjects, then you’ve arrived at the wrong site! I only pen for pleasure! On average, my posts appear about twice per month, covering family & friends, cinema visits, eating out, holiday experiences and techy stuff. Oh, and as this is my hobby, there are no sponsored links nor adverts here – it’s all done with love!
I hope you find it enjoyable, interesting and occasionally, even helpful!
