Drove to Stansted picking up the 9am to Orlio Airport for our week’s holiday in Sardinia
Landed at 11.45 local time…and a beautifully hot day. Picked up the hire car (a Smart Car) at the airport (a cross between a sewing machine and a lawn mower 0-60 in 4.3 hours!)
..and was greeted by Ruth from the Tour Company. 50 minutes later, after a twisty drive, we arrived at the hotel. It’s a very modern design with a stunning poolside area
The only disappointment was that it took three requests to get the air conditioning sorted out in the room, and Ann’s pedicure appointment failed to show up!
Off to try out the Hotel’s restaurant tonight…

I got into blogging quite late in life, not publishing my first post until 2004 – well into my 40s! My lifelong love of technology and communication (in all its forms), together with a fondness for the art of writing seemed to be the perfect combination to contribute a few words to the online community. But I’m no Samuel Pepys! If you’re looking for deep and meaningful comments on a variety of subjects, then you’ve arrived at the wrong site! I only pen for pleasure! On average, my posts appear about twice per month, covering family & friends, cinema visits, eating out, holiday experiences and techy stuff.
