Mae, Denis, Roger, Jane and Oliver came round for afternoon tea. Bev couldn’t make it because she was at a Wedding. The reason for the celebration was that it was Mae’s Birthday yesterday
The weather looked a little grey, and we had planned to all go the Wicksteed Park. However, Roger rang to say that Oliver wasn’t feeling too good and they’d come straight to us.
As things turned out, it was probably a better day all round as we got to chat a lot more and everyone seemed very chilled out. Roger asked to see the car and seemed very impressed!
All-in-all, a great day!

I got into blogging quite late in life, not publishing my first post until 2004 – well into my 40s! My lifelong love of technology and communication (in all its forms), together with a fondness for the art of writing seemed to be the perfect combination to contribute a few words to the online community. On average, my posts appear about twice per month, covering family & friends, cinema visits, eating out, holiday experiences and techy stuff.
