First Visit: The Bell, Alderminster

Yes, it’s that time again! Our three-monthly catch-up, over a Shandy (or three!) with ex-business colleagues (and great friends), Ian and Mags, together with their respective other halves, Ann and Alan.

It’s been a while (January?), as Ian was unwell the last time we were due to meet, but we were soon back into the swing of things today! 👍.

This was our first visit here, although Ian and Mags knew The Bell well!

And what a find it turned out to be! Our table was booked for 12.15 and by 12.45, pretty much all the tables were occupied. Not bad for a Wednesday lunchtime, so surely that was a good sign?

It certainly was! 😀

Great service, an imaginative menu, plenty of GF and V options (for those who required it) together with attractively presented food, that was absolutely delicious. It doesn’t get much better than that, ehh? 😋😉👍. We all agreed it had been a great place to meet up, and I’m pretty sure we’ll be back again in the future. We all had Starters and Mains. Coffee to finish where two of us tried the ‘taster’ Desserts – total cost, including a tip, was £75 per couple.

Next get-together? 10th November, probably at the White Swan in Shawell.
