Our Eatery of choice was the ever-reliable The Olde Victoria in nearby Burton Latimer. We do love this place, having only been there as recently as last Sunday with Carole H for Lunch.
It’s probably our most frequently visited Pub since we moved into the area back in 1996. It wasn’t as busy as last Sunday, where the slightly less manic atmosphere made for a slower, more relaxing experience. The result? An enjoyable meal with plenty of time for a good chat 👍😊.

Ann: Fish & Chips; Rhon: Steak Burger, Geoff: Bangers & Mash, and I chose their Wagyu Burger. All good decisions where we all enjoyed our respective choices.

I got into blogging quite late in life, not publishing my first post until 2004 – well into my 40s!
