First Visit: King’s Head at Wadenhoe

Reading time: < 1 minute...

It was off to the King’s Head in the village of Wadenhoe (population 244) to catch up with long-time friends, Mick & Jane.

We’ve not been here before and in kinder weather, there are some nice walks nearby, so we might try that when it’s a lot drier underfoot and a bit warmer!

A nice walk for ducks!

We were given a very warm welcome and soon shown to our table. Bonus points for having Aspell Cider on draught! It was a limited menu, but the options meant there was something for everyone – download it here and be prepared for the VERY reasonable prices!

We were soon tucking in…

Friday’s ‘Pie of the Day’ – Chicken & Cider
Rolo Cheesecake

…and catching up with everyone’s news…

Mick & Jane

All-in-all an excellent experience on all counts – food, service and price! We’ll be back here again soon!
