Reading time: < 1 minute...It was great to have the neighbours round tonight – seems like ages since we all last got together. Not everyone could make it for one reason or another, but Tom & Julie, Trish, David & Val, Rosi & Dave and Lee all helped us polish off the traditional Friday night dinner – Fish and Chips (and for the brave – mushy peas!) washed down with plenty of beer and wine and all finished off with two of Ann’s homemade desserts.
It had been quite a day for Ann! It had been her last day at Working Links, and we were hoping to hear back from the headhunters about her next job move – but she didn’t get the call – stressful or what!!!!
Still, we had great evening and finally got to bed just after midnight – shattered!!

I got into blogging quite late in life, not publishing my first post until 2004 – well into my 40s! My lifelong love of technology and communication (in all its forms), together with a fondness for the art of writing seemed to be the perfect combination to contribute a few words to the online community. But I’m no Samuel Pepys! If you’re looking for deep and meaningful comments on a variety of subjects, then you’ve arrived at the wrong site! I only pen for pleasure! On average, my posts appear about twice per month, covering family & friends, cinema visits, eating out, holiday experiences and techy stuff. Oh, and as this is my hobby, there are no sponsored links nor adverts here – it’s all done with love!
