We took the short drive over to Wootton to catch up with Chris, Gill, Francesca and Abigail on the occasion of Chris’ 50th birthday party. As Mum and Lee are with us, we took them too. The party had been postponed from earlier in the year due to the murder next-door-but-one, of the family that lived there. A reasonable excuse!
I guess there was about a dozen of us there in total, and the only other couple we knew was Steve and Denise. The food was excellent as always and didn’t disappoint: Fish Pie, Chicken in Mushroom Sauce and Macaroni Cheese – all scrummy!!
We stayed until 4 and then headed back. Thanks folks good grub, good company and gorgeous weather! It doesn’t get much better than that!

I got into blogging quite late in life, not publishing my first post until 2004 – well into my 40s! My lifelong love of technology and communication (in all its forms), together with a fondness for the art of writing seemed to be the perfect combination to contribute a few words to the online community. On average, my posts appear about twice per month, covering family & friends, cinema visits, eating out, holiday experiences and techy stuff.
