I drove over to Bedford Station to pick Mum up – I dropped into Denise and Steve’s on the way through. Denise made me coffee and forced a mince-pie on me and we sat in front of her open fire in the lounge – lovely! Steve was out getting plumbing bits and pieces and arrived back, tap-in-hand, just as I was leaving.
Mum had had a good journey through on ThamesLink and arrived slightly ahead of schedule, at around 11.45. She was therefore in good spirits…

Which is more than I can say for poor Ann. She certainly seems to be suffering health-wise at the moment. Laryngitis and a streaming cold are the latest ailments – not nice! The real bummer for her is that she seems to get a bit better and then relapses! Against everyone’s advice, she went into work for half-a-day and I picked her up from the station early afternoon.

I got into blogging quite late in life, not publishing my first post until 2004 – well into my 40s! My lifelong love of technology and communication (in all its forms), together with a fondness for the art of writing seemed to be the perfect combination to contribute a few words to the online community. But I’m no Samuel Pepys! If you’re looking for deep and meaningful comments on a variety of subjects, then you’ve arrived at the wrong site! I only pen for pleasure! On average, my posts appear about twice per month, covering family & friends, cinema visits, eating out, holiday experiences and techy stuff. Oh, and as this is my hobby, there are no sponsored links nor adverts here – it’s all done with love!
I hope you find it enjoyable, interesting and occasionally, even helpful!
