We went to see Rick in concert at The Derngate tonight.
The show was a mixture of his normal humorous banter plus plenty of his back catalogue and some new stuff. He was on for nearly three hours and was excellent! He’s certainly lost none of his keyboard skills and we think he’s at his best when playing the classical-type stuff on the piano.
He used a big-screen to show other musicians who he played along with; including his daughter, his band, Gordon Giltrap and a young choir.
We got home around 11,20pm…

I got into blogging quite late in life, not publishing my first post until 2004 – well into my 40s! My lifelong love of technology and communication (in all its forms), together with a fondness for the art of writing seemed to be the perfect combination to contribute a few words to the online community. On average, my posts appear about twice per month, covering family & friends, cinema visits, eating out, holiday experiences and techy stuff.
