Well, we haven’t done this in a while! A Curry Night at ours, plus an opportunity to catch up with Tom & Julie and John & Trish. We had an extra benefit tonight because the clocks went back an hour! 😊👍

Tom & Julie were just back from their holiday in Greece, so there was an opportunity to swap notes after our recent trip to Thessaloniki whilst John & Trish had also been away – their first proper holiday for some years after Trish fully retired a few months ago!
As usual, preparations began earlier in the week in terms of deciding exactly what was going on the menu. And so, by today, it was just a question of cooking it all!
Ann had worked wonders and as a result, there was plenty of variety, as usual!! 😋😋
The Menu
- Indian Starters with Poppadums
- Naan Bread
- Lamb & Lentil Madras
- Chicken, Tikka Masala with Apricots and Chickpeas
- Haddock & Prawn Saag Masala
- Maybe a bottle or three of ‘the grape’ 😁

Like we needed MORE food – the cheeseboard followed! 😬 Well, it would have been rude NOT to!

As usual, over the excellent food, we put all the World’s problems right where the discussion included the Government’s handling of the pandemic and the friendliness of Greek people (and everything in between – we’re flexible like that!) 😁.
After the banquet, we decamped to the Lounge and turned our thoughts to Christmas and future holidays. The empty wine bottles and multiple dishwasher cycles afterwards suggested it had been a great night! It was!!! 👍😘😘

I got into blogging quite late in life, not publishing my first post until 2004 – well into my 40s! My lifelong love of technology and communication (in all its forms), together with a fondness for the art of writing seemed to be the perfect combination to contribute a few words to the online community. But I’m no Samuel Pepys! If you’re looking for deep and meaningful comments on a variety of subjects, then you’ve arrived at the wrong site! I only pen for pleasure! On average, my posts appear about twice per month, covering family & friends, cinema visits, eating out, holiday experiences and techy stuff. Oh, and as this is my hobby, there are no sponsored links nor adverts here – it’s all done with love!
I hope you find it enjoyable, interesting and occasionally, even helpful!
