We felt like celebrating! No reason really, but it’s pay-day, the car’s sorted, Janet’s on the mend and I had a good meeting at my favourite client’s!
So we picked-up Jo and Janet and went off to Han, – we reckon it’s the best Chinese restaurant in Market Harborough, Northamptonshire, err… anywhere!
They were packed-out but the service (as always) was spot-on. They might have been extra-busy because the town was having its annual late-night Xmas shopping night.
We decided to be adventurous and go for a starter-platter for four followed by a WHOLE duck. Yeesh! it nearly finished us off (rather than the other way round). We made to the end, although I did struggle with my extra sizzling beef-and-spring onion side order. We skipped dessert and settled for a coffee (for Jan and me) and Chinese tea for Ann. Jo paused!
All-in-all a GREAT experience!!!
We got home around 10.15.
I got into blogging quite late in life, not publishing my first post until 2004 – well into my 40s! My lifelong love of technology and communication (in all its forms), together with a fondness for the art of writing seemed to be the perfect combination to contribute a few words to the online community. But I’m no Samuel Pepys! If you’re looking for deep and meaningful comments on a variety of subjects, then you’ve arrived at the wrong site! I only pen for pleasure! On average, my posts appear about twice per month, covering family & friends, cinema visits, eating out, holiday experiences and techy stuff. Oh, and as this is my hobby, there are no sponsored links nor adverts here – it’s all done with love!
I hope you find it enjoyable, interesting and occasionally, even helpful!
