Lunch with Alison W

I drove over to Peterborough today to catch-up with Alison W for lunch. We headed for The Granary and I was pretty impressed with myself, navigating around the menu and not compromising my Lent List. We caught up with others’ news and generally put the world-to-right – it was then that I noticed that my voice had gone a bit croaky – hope it’s nothing serious!!!

It was a good use of time as from there I was heading over to the Station to pick Ann up from her four days in Newcastle. Ann’s train got in around 5.30 and we were home by 6.30 – perfect!

I got into blogging quite late in life, not publishing my first post until 2004 – well into my 40s! My lifelong love of technology and communication (in all its forms), together with a fondness for the art of writing seemed to be the perfect combination to contribute a few words to the online community.
