It’s our turn to host ‘a little something’ for the neighbours – perfect timing then as we’re coming to the end of the Christmas festivities for another year. We’re going out on a high (or should that be heavy?) with a full-on menu for Paul, Karen, David, Rosi and John and Trish. Tom and Julie are here in spirit , but are in reality, continuing to enjoy themselves in Tenerife.

It was a great night! We ate loads, drank loads – and chatted for ages. Rosi was working the next day, so had to leave a little earlier, but the rest of us managed to stay-up until 1.45am! What a great way to end the Christmas and New Year holidays!!
Thanks for you company everyone – and thanks for doing the food justice!!!
Now, back to reality – the washing-up!!![]()
I got into blogging quite late in life, not publishing my first post until 2004 – well into my 40s! My lifelong love of technology and communication (in all its forms), together with a fondness for the art of writing seemed to be the perfect combination to contribute a few words to the online community. But I’m no Samuel Pepys! If you’re looking for deep and meaningful comments on a variety of subjects, then you’ve arrived at the wrong site! I only pen for pleasure! On average, my posts appear about twice per month, covering family & friends, cinema visits, eating out, holiday experiences and techy stuff. Oh, and as this is my hobby, there are no sponsored links nor adverts here – it’s all done with love!
I hope you find it enjoyable, interesting and occasionally, even helpful!
