Today was all about Christmas preparations! With all the cards written, we turned to even bigger tasks! I think we’re even earlier than usual with all this – it’s still November! 🤔
First job? Put up the Christmas Tree! An hour later, mission accomplished!
Next: Christmas Wreath up!
Then it was setting the table for The Northants Nutters Christmas Lunch at ours next weekend.
Finally, it was pressy wrapping time. It seemed like more than last year (it actually, wasn’t!) but we pretty much exhausted all our stock of wrapping paper!
Phew! It’s been a full-on Saturday. Feet up for the rest of the day! 👍
I got into blogging quite late in life, not publishing my first post until 2004 – well into my 40s! My lifelong love of technology and communication (in all its forms), together with a fondness for the art of writing seemed to be the perfect combination to contribute a few words to the online community. But I’m no Samuel Pepys! If you’re looking for deep and meaningful comments on a variety of subjects, then you’ve arrived at the wrong site! I only pen for pleasure! On average, my posts appear about twice per month, covering family & friends, cinema visits, eating out, holiday experiences and techy stuff.
