Auto cross-posted from my WordPress Blog:
After last week’s imaginatively titled Lesson: ‘eMail (Part 1)’, it was inevitable that this week, we’d continue to take a look at this important and regular activity.

We agreed with the Group to run a double lesson – one in the morning, and one in the afternoon, in order to minimise the gap between the two final parts of the subject matter.
We covered:
…in part 2…
- Receiving eMails
- Forwarding eMails
- Setting up a signature
- Managing ‘cc’ & ‘bcc’ fields
- Setting up Contacts in the Address Book
- Bulk sending – the ‘dos and don’ts
…in part 3…
- Spell-checking
- Attaching documents and/or pictures
- Archiving
- Force-checking for eMails
- ‘Plain text’ v ‘Rich text’
- The link to the Windows 10 Calendar
- A closer look at the ‘settings’ menu

I got into blogging quite late in life, not publishing my first post until 2004 – well into my 40s! My lifelong love of technology and communication (in all its forms), together with a fondness for the art of writing seemed to be the perfect combination to contribute a few words to the online community. But I’m no Samuel Pepys! If you’re looking for deep and meaningful comments on a variety of subjects, then you’ve arrived at the wrong site! I only pen for pleasure! On average, my posts appear about twice per month, covering family & friends, cinema visits, eating out, holiday experiences and techy stuff. Oh, and as this is my hobby, there are no sponsored links nor adverts here – it’s all done with love!
I hope you find it enjoyable, interesting and occasionally, even helpful!
