Here we are then, for some, the official start of Christmas with the John Lewis Christmas Ad for 2016 – Buster the Boxer. As usual, Kleenex at the ready!
This is the story of a little girl called Bridget who loves to bounce. When her mum and dad buy her a trampoline for Christmas, they soon discover that she isn’t the only one with a passion for jumping.
The music is a cover of ‘One Day I’ll Fly Away’ performed by Vaults – the original, of course, was by Randy Crawford.

…and here is the link for the FAKE John Lewis Christmas Advert that was doing the rounds back in June, created by a school-boy for a school project. Genius!!!!
..and for a bit of nostalgia, here are a few of the previous authentic John Lewis big Christmas ads – 2010 was when they started play on your emotions (lovely!)

I got into blogging quite late in life, not publishing my first post until 2004 – well into my 40s!
My lifelong love of technology and communication (in all its forms), together with a fondness for the art of writing seemed to be the perfect combination to contribute a few words to the online community.
But I’m no Samuel Pepys! If you’re looking for deep and meaningful comments on a variety of subjects, then you’ve arrived at the wrong site! I only pen for pleasure!
On average, my posts appear about twice per month, covering family & friends, cinema visits, eating out, holiday experiences and techy stuff. Oh, and as this is my hobby, there’s no sponsored links nor adverts here – it’s all done with love!
I hope you find it enjoyable, interesting and occasionally, even helpful!
