Holiday Blog - Day 7 (last day)

We visited ‘uShaka SeaWorld’ in Durban, to kill some time before heading to Durban Airport and then, onto a short internal flight to Johannesburg. UShaka was good, including a Dolphin show, a magnicient unerwater aquarium. We had lunch in a restaurant that was converted from an old ship – brilliant!

Once we get to J’burg, it’s around a ten hour flight to Birmingham. We land around 8am, Saturday morning.

Well, it’s certainly been a great holiday (apart from my back playing up). Here are five reasons why everyone should visit South Africa

1. They drive on the left hand side of the road
2. Everyone is very, very, very friendly
3. Your money goes a long way (10.5 Rand to the £)
4. Everyone speaks English
5. There are plenty of places to eat. Typically a meal for two with drinks would be no more than £20
