We said farewell to Jacques and Yannick and headed towards our final destination ‘La ferme de la Ranconiere’ in Crepon, near Normandy. 196 miles later, averaging 50mph (38.1 mpg) we arrived to a gloriously hot afternoon.
This is a small fortified farmhouse, turned into an Hotel and very nicely done. We took a short drive into Arromanches, and had a quick look round the area.
We’re half-board, so we’re eating in tonight

I got into blogging quite late in life, not publishing my first post until 2004 – well into my 40s! My lifelong love of technology and communication (in all its forms), together with a fondness for the art of writing seemed to be the perfect combination to contribute a few words to the online community.
