Day 9 – Nice

We found a nice little restaurant last night ‘La Maison de Marie’ tucked away down an alleyway.

Excellent service and food! Ann’s main course of fish was large enough to feed a nation. Around SIX types of fish, each portion, the size of a main course by themself!

We were both up at around 8am. It looks like Nice had some rain overnight and it feels a lot cooler.

8.45. An excellent breakfast provided by the hotel.

9.15. We’re going to take the train to Antibes – just a short train ride away. We’ve visited it before with Ralph and Karen a few years back (2003). It’s a beautiful ‘olde-worlde’ town with plenty to see and do.

12.15 Had a nice lunch in Antibes. We’re almost certain to revisit the town for longer during a future holiday!

14.45 Arrived back at Nice station and walked off lunch.

We’re spend the rest of the day chilling out and then packing.

Regent is picking us up at 9.15 tomorrow for the airport. Our flight leaves at 12.05.

It’s been a great holiday and it was good to spend a few days in Nice again..
