Holiday: Fuerteventura

Reading time: < 1 minute...

Due to my hand injury, it was just too much effort to record a daily Post for this holiday – our first trip to Fuerteventura. Instead, below is a short summary.

Gosh! It was an early start. We were up at 4.15am.. yes AM!!! and on the road to Paul & Sue’s just before 5.30! It was freezing cold when we left and felt like it was on the point of snowing.

Thankfully, it didn’t, and with Sue driving, we were soon at Birmingham Airport sampling the wares of Pret a Manger.

As we were all surviving with hand luggage, getting to our Gate was a breeze. The plane was about two-thirds full meaning we all got an empty seat next to us for the four-hour (ish) flight.

Are we nearly there yet?
Around 1800 miles from Kettering to Fuerteventura

On landing just before 1.30pm, we headed for the taxi-rank and were soon on our way. The roads were in perfect condition (potholes? what potholes?) and around 35-minutes later we arrived at our home for the next seven days.

We stayed in a lovely self-catering apartment for seven days in Corralejo called Las Casitas de Corralejo

Our Apartment

It was the perfect size for us, immaculately clean and had everything we needed for our stay.

I’ve put a link to the rest of the photos I took over the seven days below… 🙂😎
