Reading time: < 1 minute...I travelled down to London today to meet up with Peter J. We planned to take a tour of The Shard – 72 floors and 1016 feet of vertical architecture close to London Bridge and Guy’s Hospital.
We weren’t quite sure what to expect as we turned the corner from the Tube Station, but nothing could prepare us for the view! It’s such a tall building, you couldn’t see the whole thing bottom-to-top without standing back in the middle of the road (not advisable!).
Although it wasn’t the clearest nor warmest of days, the view from the top was AMAZING!

I got into blogging quite late in life, not publishing my first post until 2004 – well into my 40s! My lifelong love of technology and communication (in all its forms), together with a fondness for the art of writing seemed to be the perfect combination to contribute a few words to the online community.
