I drove down the Camberley in Surrey today to help Maggie C out with a few PC techy problems and help her choose a NetBook. I left frighteningly early – 4.15am – because I know, from experience, that it can be a nightmare of a journey, simply because it involves the M25!
The bad news was that the weather was awful. The good news however, was that they’ve finished widening the M25 round towards Heathrow (where it normally gets very congested). – as a result, I arrived around 6.15, so I found a car-park just down the road and had a short snooze!!
I left around 1.35 and that should have given me plenty of time to have a good journey home. Not so! I didn’t get in until 4.35!!! That’s three hours, to cover just under 100 miles. Ridiculous!!!
I got into blogging quite late in life, not publishing my first post until 2004 – well into my 40s! My lifelong love of technology and communication (in all its forms), together with a fondness for the art of writing seemed to be the perfect combination to contribute a few words to the online community. But I’m no Samuel Pepys! If you’re looking for deep and meaningful comments on a variety of subjects, then you’ve arrived at the wrong site! I only pen for pleasure! On average, my posts appear about twice per month, covering family & friends, cinema visits, eating out, holiday experiences and techy stuff. Oh, and as this is my hobby, there are no sponsored links nor adverts here – it’s all done with love!
I hope you find it enjoyable, interesting and occasionally, even helpful!
