I picked up my repaired XDA Executive from the O2 shop in Kettering yesterday. It’ll become a spare device just in case the main one breaks down. Due to a later version of the ROM on the new spare one, I was unable to quickly restore any of the data I backed up from my main XDA (which would have made things a lot quicker). So, I spent most of Sunday morning re-installing everything!

I got into blogging quite late in life, not publishing my first post until 2004 – well into my 40s! My lifelong love of technology and communication (in all its forms), together with a fondness for the art of writing seemed to be the perfect combination to contribute a few words to the online community.
