What a great evening! We got together with Kevin & Sarah, Mick & Sam, Jo & Janet, Steve & Juliet and Ian aka ‘Gin Buddies’ aka ‘Neighbours 2.0’ for a pre-Christmas celebration and to see the hard work that Kevin & Sarah had put into their new kitchen. Wow! Some transformation! Very modern, very well thought-out – and very spacious. Fantastic! 👍👍
The evening was helped along by copious amounts of nibbles: Sam brought along her homemade Amaretto Biscuits, Jo, her Gingerbread Bites together with our Cheese Straws. If that wasn’t enough – a superb Cheeseboard and plenty of savoury party food, courtesy of our hosts. Just as well there was all that food as collectively, we ‘tested’ (ahem!) quite a few gins (whilst I got an introduction to the ‘world of Martinis’ too! — cheers Sarah!) 😉😁.
By the time we left, we were definitely full of the Christmas Spirit! 😋.
I got into blogging quite late in life, not publishing my first post until 2004 – well into my 40s! My lifelong love of technology and communication (in all its forms), together with a fondness for the art of writing seemed to be the perfect combination to contribute a few words to the online community. But I’m no Samuel Pepys! If you’re looking for deep and meaningful comments on a variety of subjects, then you’ve arrived at the wrong site! I only pen for pleasure! On average, my posts appear about twice per month, covering family & friends, cinema visits, eating out, holiday experiences and techy stuff.
